What to Expect

Behind the bustling Jaipur city lies the peaceful streets of Amer, the ancient capital of Sawai Jai Singh II. It is the home of Meena Rajput and Kachhawaha Rajput communities who were mostly traders in bangles, leather items, brass metal, textiles, glazed pottery, and spices. Visit the local temples and streets just like the locals do. We also see the step-wells that were once the source of drinking water for the community.

This tour typically starts early morning and ends by 10 am at the Amer fort.

Are the snacks hygienic?

Yes, absolutely. They are home-made and hygiene is normally taken care of.

Can I do this as a private tour?

Yes, you can. Just tell the number of people you are and any other special requirements along with your enquiry, and we will set up a private tour for you.

Can you provide pickup from my hotel?

Yes, we can do that. Simply send us the name and approximate location of your hotel when you send us the message with your enquiry. Depending upon the number of people, we will set up a private car for you. The charges for that are extra.

Is it safe for a solo female traveler?

Yes, we have had hundreds of solo female travelers on this tour. Our storyteller and tour guide is well equipped to take care of the safety aspect.
